Sydney is now a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints!

I don't think I have ever seen anyone more excited to enter into the waters of baptism.
~Sydney and her dad before her baptism~ Thank you to everyone who came and supported Sydney on her special day.
~Sydney and her primary teacher Sis. McDonald~
Grandpa Mathews gave the talk on the Holy Ghost. Uncle Ryan spoke on baptism. Grandma Mathews played the piano and Aunt Alicia led the music.
~Sydney with Grandma and Grandpa Mathews~

Grandpa Cazier said the opening prayer and Anderson said the closing prayer.

OK...so why does everyone cooperate and smile perfect with such an uncool background. Put us outside in a beautiful landscape and I've got my Christmas card photo!

Those are great pictures! Congrats to Sydney. I'm sure you can find a way to crop your family into a scenic landscape...
Photoshop can do almost anything.

Sydney seemed so happy last night. It was wonderful to be there.
That is a really great family photo. I'm sure you'll be able to think of something creative to make it work.

Everyone stole my comment, I was going to say that you of all people should be able to create some gorgeous winter landscape with deer in the background. Great pics, great baptism.

Oh! She looks so beautiful! Congratulations Sydney! That is so wonderful.
Maybe you can superimpose this image over the desired background? Good luck!

I'm glad we got to come to Sydney's baptism. I loved the idea of writing our thoughts to Sydney on cards for her to keep. Chad got a kick out of reading a few of them from some of her cousins. They were all very sweet. I love your pictures and I know you can totally photoshop in a hawaiian sunset background or something.

I don't know how I missed this post Amy. Your sweet little Sydney looks so happy. What a great day for her.
I had to laugh when I read Mike's comment because I was thinking the same thing about your parents when I saw the picture; Richard is Grandpa Mathews???
I don't know why that seemed so shocking I mean they are like six years or so older than me, and I'm a grandma. It's just weird to see everyone growing older.

Okay Amy, when you photoshop your family picture - why don't you photoshop the picture of me and Sydney too and trim my arms, my double chin, etc. That'd be awesome! :) I'm so glad I showered that day. ;) And it's so true how excited Sydney was for her baptism. It's all she could talk about in Primary class. She's so sweet and I'm so happy I could be there for her special day.
