Winter Wonderland or Hoboville?

As soon as we got snow the battle lines were drawn.VS
Anderson had it made...whenever Cayden's snowballs hit the old screen that made up his fort the snowballs turned into powder and Anderson never got wet. Cayden, on the other hand, continued to get pummeled.
So the following day while Anderson was still at school, Cayden enlisted some reinforcements and the fort was expanded.
Their new set up made Anderson's screen look a bit puny.

So if you are driving by my house and enjoying the beautiful snow and Christmas lights...

You might want to look the other way 'cause my front yard looks like Hoboville.

And in the meantime, two brothers are building memories that will still be talked about well into their older adult years.
I just love to see kids having fun in the snow.
It almost makes the headache of snow and all the transportation problems it can cause, seem almost insignifigant

It makes me think back to the snow forts we used to make. They would only happen every few years in the Tri-Cities, but it was awesome when it did!

I'll have to show my girls the pictures. It might give them an idea of what to do with 2 feet of snow. :)

It may look like hoboville, but everyone knows your kids are having a lot of fun. We'll miss seeing everyone at the Christmas dinner too.

Oh and we replaced the countertops in our house for less than $500. We bought the pre-fab laminate ones at Home Depot and Matt and his coworker installed them. Someday I'd love granite, but this is great for now!

So funny! I was going to call and ask you what project you had going on after I drove by your house this morning! I was thinking you were being all creative and making some awesome photo backdrop.

That's just totally awesome. Yeah, how fun to be able to play outside with a brother and have a good snow ball fight. I love the creativity in the forts. Your such a good mom Amy!

I am so glad that my props are being put to good use. I am laughing because the window pane is already broken. It just is a hilarious image in my head.

Go for it boys. Get down and get with it in the snow. Woo Hoo....

HOBOVILLE!!!! hahahahaha! See, Anderson was pretty smart with that screen because he could still see through it, but not be hurt.

I saw the construction. Anderson explained that his screen is the PERFECT snow pulverizer.

Did you hear our kids exchanged some snowballs this evening. What a blast!!

It looks more like a Winter Warzone to me! How fun, those forts are great! I wish I was brave enough to go play in the snow, but it's so warm inside :)
