My sister Alison was at a Primary Presidency meeting and her friend asked the group if anyone knew someone that could give her a hand with Adobe Photoshop. Alison gave her my name and phone number and boy am I so very glad that she did! The woman told me about a website that she found where you could download a free template of a photobook of the Family Proclamation! It is so awesome. You can change the colors of the background, throw in your pictures and it all correlates directly with the entire proclamation. It took me over a day to complete the book because I did manipulate the template to fit my needs. But in the end I created three different books for Christmas presents; one for my parents, one for John's parents and one for John. The website also shared a new publishing site that is 1/2 the cost of the one's I have used in the past. I haven't received them in the mail yet but here are a few pages from my mom's book:

If you are wondering why I haven't been blogging lately, here are some of the reasons.
If you are wondering what we did with our old computer...If you don't give your kids sledge hammers and free reign to "trash" your old hard drive...you are really missing out.
-
If you are wondering what Branson and I did on Halloween day...
If you didn't jump and play in the leaves and take cute pictures in October, well it's too late cause it's December now and what leaves are left are all soggy gross.
-
If you are wondering what my kids dressed up for Halloween, and I know it has been killing you to know...
If you tell an 8 year old girl she can be whatever she wants, so long as it comes from her dress up box and doesn't cost anything, she will be a rock star.
If your younger sister Alison still has the Teddy Bear costume that all of your other kids wore on their first Halloween, and it is still up in her attic a month after you have mentioned it to her and it is the day of Halloween, than you dress up your toddler as a little green monster.
If your teenager has a dress up party to go to than he probably went as the joker...didn't every teenage boy go as joker?
_
If your dress up box is still out and it is the middle of November...
