Backyard Bash!

I don't know who had more fun...the kids in the water, the mom's visiting on the blankets, or me playing with my brand new camera!
(Don't judge me too harshly...I just pulled my camera out of the package today, I snapped pictures of cute kids even in terrible lighting, and I only did minor editing so I could get this post done quickly)

Alicia snatched up my camera when I was away for a minute and she gets full credit for this last awesome picture.

  1. Great pictures Amy! Thanks for opening up your backyard for us all to enjoy. We had a BLAST (like those fun rockets)! Let's do it again...and soon. ;)

  2. As we were driving away from your house all of my children commented about how much fun they had. I had a great time visiting with all of the wonderful ladies, and eating that delicious popsicle!

Thank you for the fun afternoon!

  3. Sounds fun! What great pictures. What kind of camera did you get? You'll have to name it. I named mine. R2-D2. I love him so.

  4. Terri was telling me how fun it was. She said it was so relaxing and that we need to do more of it.

That was the nicest thing Amy. As busy as we all get, it is so nice to get together and have the kids play and the grown ups talk and laugh. I think you are just about it. Oh yeah, I went there.

  10. When we left my kids said,” that wasn't a play date that was a party!" And oh baby was it ever! Thanks so much for the chance to get together and meet new people and make new friends. Your backyard is unbelievable and you did such a great job setting up all sorts of stations for the kids to play with. I think that is the first time I have been to a "party" with that many kids when there was hardly any fighting and very few tears. Bravo. I can't wait to do it again and neither can my kids. I am so glad you got pictures they look awesome! My camera battery was dead dead dead so I was bummed but you just made my day again. Thanks.-Niki

  12. It was sooo fun! I'm a little disappointed that you didn't get any pictures of the orange and red tongues!

I loved meeting, in person, new people. Thanks a ton. When are you doing it again?

  13. Amy, what a totally cool and sociable thing to do! The pictures are beautiful, nothing like a day of fun with LOTS of children to break in a new camara.

  14. What a lovely, neighborly, friendly thing to do. I'm so sorry I didn't make it. I crashed. Seriously, I am so completely exhaused every afternoon. I am not usually a nap person, but I guess now I am.
What a fun bunch of ladies to visit with. I really, really missed out.

I'm so happy you got your package today...I hope nothing melted in it...I heard it is hot over there.
I do hope you enjoy everything and am glad someone else can enjoy Sense and Sensibility... My favorite is Pride and Prejudice.
    Take Care and thanks again.
