A Boy After My Own Heart!

Here is Branson handing me one of his favorite books. (Big Trucks and Dirty Bulldozers) For those of you who remember the Shower Post... here is what happens if you tell him Mommy can't read right now cause she's busy...

And this is after an HOUR of reading to him!

  3. "...and for just $2.99 a day, you can ensure that this child always has someone to read to him..."

Yep, the sadness pouring through that picture is on par with the heavy handed infomercials!!

NOW GO READ TO HIM ALREADY SO I CAN STOP CRYING!!! ☺

  4. Oh, that is just too sad. :(

How could you not drop everything and read to that poor deprived baby?:)

It's good to know that he is starting off on the right foot when it comes to literature.

Oh, I am having a giveaway on my blog if you're interested.

  5. OK...so I added to the post, which I should have done the first time. What was so funny about this was that I had been reading to him for over an hour already!! I kid you not! That boy would not let me get anything done, but I am not complaining.

  6. Amy, I think that is one of the best things I've heard in a while. A little guy who cries when mama stops reading to him. You, dear cousin, are raising children with a love for books and a pure love of reading. You earn several gold stars for that. And thanks for reminding me of your shower post, I think that it was one of the very first of your posts I ever read.

  8. That is such a sad picture!

I had a ton of fun at bunco too! I would love to sub again, but would have to find a babysitter since Ben goes to Karate on Tuesdays (He skipped that one night so I could go, nice huh!)

  9. I don't think any of my kids had an hour attention span at that age. You've taught him well.

  10. That is heartbreaking! I love it. So adorable when they start finding their favorites. Isn't the age before reasoning such a joy?

    P.S. Mike, you are hilarious!
