Why I am a Lucky Woman

So Monday found me once again in the dentist chair. I don't know why my teeth are so sensitive but they always have to numb me up more than normal and when I have work done like a crown or a root canal I am always in pain for days after. Monday was no different, but when I woke up from a wonderful drug induced stupor I saw Branson holding two beautiful red roses and a bottle of Lavender Spa Bubbles. So for the last two days I have enjoyed having fresh flowers in my kitchen....and last night after everyone else was in bed I soaked in a hot bubble bath and read my new Peg Kehret book for several hours. Have I mentioned that I love my husband?

What a sweet note! What a sweet husband! How did he sign the note? I was trying to figure out what it said. Is it a little cutesy name?

Cayman typically smiles a lot! Although four of us ladies had to work hard to get her to smile for her school pictures. She was not very giving with her glee that morning.

On the contrary belief that Cayman is always photogenic, I just might have to do a post of her not so photogenic moments. :-)

have i told you lately that you have an awesome husband?! (apologize for any typos, as the codiene's kicked in, lol.) when i saw him cradling branson in his arms today, i thought "what a great dad. it's so nice to see a dad doing his job & just being there." and when you came in, i thought "what a fantastic pair you are: equals in everything." thanks for being the awesome & sweet example you two are! you inspire me. and thanks, cause i needed the little pick me up of our 30 second convo today. enjoy that lavender stuff, you've more than earned it!

I think that the sensitive teeth and gums must be hereditary. I can't remember a trip to the Dentist when he hasn't had to give me anywhere from two to five extra shots of novacain. And even then I tense up because I never know when he's going to hit a nerve that for whatever reason escaped the numbing. I don't usually feel too much pain afterwards though. I feel bad for you to have to endure that as well. Kinda like after that first or second baby and the after pains are sometimes just as bad as the previous labor ones.
BOOOOO! To pain of any sort!
