Walkin' On Sunshine--With Both Feet!

Yesterday Branson got his cast off for good!

He remembered the "scary" saw from the last cast removal and began to cry and say "Bye Bye" as soon as we walked into the lobby of the Doctor's office. But despite being scared out of his mind he was so good. Ignoring the NO FOOD ALLOWED signs I snuck in a large Jack in The Box French Fry to help with the experience. The nurses and doctor thought the fries were a great idea (but then they are the ones who had to pin him down to the table.) All trauma aside, the second we got home he was walking stiffly around the house as if nothing had ever happened. Now that the cast is gone he is on to bigger and taller things...climbing.

Hooray for Branson! However being such a busy, active, little guy, I wonder how long until he breaks an arm.

I'm so happy he is back to climbing everything in the house! This is great news! :)

I laughed at your comment on my blog...Amy, we might just be a little crazy with the way we think, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I feel the need to capture all of God's beauty that I can. Sometimes I wonder if my grandchildren even would recognize me without a camera in front of my face!
Keep on clicking woman (that cracked me up!!!!!)~

Aw, bless his sweet heart. Doctors offices are a little scary under the best of circumstances, doubly scary when they pull out freaky looking tools! Glad he's got the cast off. Good luck keeping him out of trouble!
